Gas Card Program
We believe that Pressing On helps refill people’s emotional and relational tanks during times of crisis, but this program literally helps refuel vehicles in a tangible way. Traveling to and from the hospital for illnesses, emergencies and planned procedures is traumatic enough, let alone the financial toll it takes on a family. We’d like to alleviate the burden just a bit by providing a gas card for eligible families to use towards transportation to and from the hospital. Eligibility Requirements: Families must demonstrate proof of a current or planned hospitalization in order to apply for a Gas Card. One Gas Card per family, while supplies last. $20 maximum value. This is a Pittsburgh-specific program - families must live near or receive healthcare services in the greater Pittsburgh area and be able to utilize a GetGo Gas Station.
